I don't know if I was one of the betas, but I'm sure I remember something about the rush job on that story! It's quite exciting doing pinch-hits, I think, as you don't have time to worry about what the recipient will lovelovelove, you just have to get on and write like mad. And if it works out, you just have the memory of the rush, and no awkward period of trying to decide what to write.

I remember that Heart of the Jungle story fondly, too - lovely use of language. Strictly speaking, of course, if it was in 2006 it was DWNOGA, not MTYG, but I think we can stretch that point.
